Well, my name is Kaytlyn! And here are some more information about me. I am a Sophmore and Whitehall High School. I was born and raised up in Traverse City, and a little over a year ago, I moved to Whitehall. Traverse City is still a huge part of my life. I go up to visit and spend time there about two times a month. Traverse City is very important to me, I love the cherries, the local shops, the movie theaters, the restaurants, the bays, the Tart Trail, the ski hills, the Cherry Fest and the Film vest - I just love it all. Whitehall is where my Dad grew up, so I love being able to follow in his footsteps of growing up here, yet at the same time, making memories in my own special ways! Whitehall is very welcoming and small, and I love the cozy feel of it. Activities I do through the school are Business Professionals of America, Chem Club, I started a Recycling Club, and I play Girls Soccer. I have studied French for about three years, and I have studied Spanish for one year. Studying different cultures and languages is very fascinating and important to me - I'm very lucky to be able to study them. Something very important to me is actually the study of diverse cultures and ethnic groups. I find the level of communication taught in that subject to be very important in almost every aspect in our lives. One day, I hope I can make an impact on how important diversity is seen through all eyes. Another important thing to me is America. I love the USA. A lot of my family has been in the military. I have always grown up in a Patriotic household, and I'm very proud and thankful for that. Being about to represent our Home land and experience other cultures and countries is my dream come true.
